UW Flying Club's current fleet consists of two planes, based at Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) :

$96/hour (wet), plus fuel surcharge

It's a 1998 model that we bought in the Fall of 2004.  It was an R model, which has been upgraded to the 180 hp engine.  It is fully IFR equipped:

This is a 2002 model that we bought in March 2010.  Fully IFR equipped:

The fuel surcharge is $1 for every $.10 the price for 100LL exceeds $5.00.  As of February 2016, the price of fuel is $4.33 per gallon and the surcharge is minus $7.00

 

We currently have 32 active members.  The aircraft are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a couple of rare exceptions.


We carry insurance with Avemco on our aircraft for $1M liability and full hull coverage.

Availability of the aircraft is good, especially on weekdays. We use the same aircraft reservation system as Wisconsin Aviation, Flight Schedule Pro. We have documents below on how to use this system.
